Critiquing Photo Challenge

Part 1

I think this was my most successful image because it fits the category of Explanatory. It shows the movement of water over time, showing that the water isnt uniform and that it travels slightly left and right as it flows.

The most challenging aspect of this challenge was thinking critically about the photos I was taking and why I was taking them. It was not like the dozen photo challenge where I was just taking pictures of something I found cool looking and fit a technique. I had to have motivation behind the scene I was capturing which was difficult.

In the future I will create stronger images by having more intention with why I am taking a photo. Trying to understand a scene in the lens of these six categories.

Hi Amanda! I like the photo you chose for you best photo. I agree it is very aesthetically pleasing. I appreciate the sunset colors and I feel like it does a great job of capturing Newark's Main Street at sunset.
